1974 43DC. Do these boats came with Twin Discs or Allisons?? Engines are 6-71n. Also do they have transmission coolers??? Thanks

yes to most all. I do not know of what engines and transmissions you have because there is no way to tell if its been repowered. The cooler will be either in the inlet line for the raw water or part of the HE expansion tank.
 
Lilly Marie has Capitol gears. I believe, but do not know is has transmission coolers.

Our 1975 43DC had Twin Disc
 
Do they had oil coolers??
 
I have twin discs and I think any diesel pwoered boat other then perhaps small engines will run tranny coolers. Like they said in the raw water line. Bill

We have Twin disc.
 
Our 1980 43 DC (Johnson and Towers 6-71's) has Capitol Gears with the transmission oil coolers in a fore/aft alignment on top of the transmission. Main engine sea suction runs from sea valve, to sea strainer to trans oil cooler then to Sea Water Pump.
