Agreed and I grew up out there. What was once farm and rural is now over-developed with insane behavior. The last time we visited my roots, I said never again, or at least until we can feel safe again. Good people having rocks thrown through their windows for not having BLM support signs. Tents lining I-5 like a third world country. Truly disgusting politics and behavior. Portland, while admittedly never that great, was once a decent city. Hopefully again one day.

Same with San Diego, they are spending so much money on the homeless situation that the rest of us can’t even drive on the roads due to the potholes that there is no money left to fix.

I’ve got a friend who grew up and still lives there in Portland. Said she had to buy a locking bed cover for her pickup because she would park somewhere and find people sleeping in the back when she came back. Said it started with people moving from Cali then the hipsters now the tweekers and homeless. Just keeps getting worse. It’s a beautiful place such a shame.

Only those who live on the waterfront in Miami would understand this, but the SOLE reason we sold our beautiful waterfront home, with dockage, and the most gorgeous views was of the SUPER LOUD music that these charter boats blasted coming home between 4 -6 am! I’m a night owl, but dayum!
There is NO police on the water after 4pm on the rare days they even go out.
