The guy who bought my boat last year replaced the mcck with new Westerbeke and has the Onan for sale. It is a very good running unit, Compression was 140 ea last year when i sold the boat. Lots of new parts on it including the completely rebuilt raw water pump--yes the shaft, bearings and the rear housing. I had heads off last year and decarboned cylinders and cleaned out water jackets. It is heat exchange cooled.

I invited the owner to joint this site and if so he can take over this thread.

If interested I can put you with the owner.

Boatsb on this site also knows this gen and can verify its quality.

Asking is 1200 i think. Sure he can send photos. I have photos at home of it installed before boat was sold.

This is as close to a perfect MCCK as it gets. It is an H-J series, manufactured in 1985. All parts manuels, owner and service manuels.

I am gone on vacation starting tomorrow. You can contact Scott, or Boatsb as the current owner is his customer and scott also knows this gen set. He can put you in contact with the owner.

Hell I spend 800 on the raw water pump parts about 1.5 yrs ago. I acid washed the heads when I had them off and also acid washed the exhaust manifold. Chased the exhaust threads and had the gasket surfaces on the manifold machined. I bead blasted intake, exhaust manifolds and heads. Also did the tins. Never had the unit out of the boat so i never finished painting it but it was in very nice shape. New owner did nothing more than pay to have it tuned up.

Facet fuel pump is about 2yrs old.
