  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
36' CONVERTIBLE-Series II (1983 - 1987)
Does anyone have a pristene 32' Hat they want to sell??? I have a young friend that would like one. He has about a 60k limit and wouldn't mind a gas engined boat at all. He doesn't want the express. He would rather have a 36' convert as he loves our '86 36C. If you have or know of a cherry older 36 from the 70s that would do very nicely. We found an add for a nice looking 32 flybridge in the Boston area on Yacht world. He called to be told that it is sold. That was awhile ago and they still have the listing on YW. I guess the dealer can't take the time to cqncel it.

There is an older 36 Series I gas boat up in NY someplace called Charmer. An estate sale. Look on yachtworld.com. At any given time, there are a few 36s for sale on there. Good luck. An older 36 is a wonderful boat.

Hi,

I have an older 34' Hatt convertable. Single station with a 1/2 tower, new encloser summer of 05. Repowered with 454s 2 seasons ago. The motors were takeouts with low hours. The generator was replaced with an inverter. If you are curious you can email me at OutTwoSea2@aol.com and I will forward some pictures.

My sister bought that 32' from Boston and we had it shipped back here (Port Clinton) two weeks ago. The boat actually came from Port Clinton and had been in Boston for about 5 years. It is a really clean boat. She paid $55,000.

My borther-in-law has a really clean 1976 36' Hatteras also in Port Clinton but it would take more than $60,000 to buy her. He is listed in the directory under ohiohatteras. You might e-mail him and see what he says. I believe he is in the process of having the whole boat painted.

Thanks everyone. This fella found a very nice 28' Bertram. A little small, not a Hat, but he seems happy. I have never seen a boat that small with that much equipement. Glendening syncronizer, Autohelm 6000 autopilot, Raytheon radar, and on. Nice little boat, no gen set, no 12 volt on the refrigerator, (110v only). He paid 50K. Thanks again to all.
