20KW MDL4 Onan generator parts

Anyone know where to find older Onan parts? The heat exchanger starter leaking on this 1985 model generator that's also part of the exhaust manifold. Believe the seal kit part number to be 168-0172 and having a hard time finding the seals. Any ideas where to go?

The last part search I did for a MD4 was thru the Cummins/OhNo dealer. Blown head gasket & loose head cups. He found most of my wish list in Bolivia. That's when the customer gave up and ordered a new NL 20.

Yachts and Diesels rebuilt my leaking heat exchanger this year. They did a great job. For new parts, try Bolland Machine in Beaver Falls, Pa. look for their website.

The engine on that old model is a Cummings. I'd get the serial number from the block and try a Cummings dealer.

I just ordered a new oil pressure switch from the local Cummins dealer about 2 hours ago.

40 bucks! What a rip.

After a week of searching the auto parts house in Wanchese NC found them. All the part numbers had changed and most of the seals will ship out of Atlanta.

The cummins dealer was no help on this one.
