Back on the water last Friday in Sandusky Ohio. Its great to be floating again...

Its like opening up a time capsule. Well preserved and shiny like a new penny. For me, its nice to be on the water 24/7, 365, but I cant keep the boat as clean as I want. It seems that its always needing a wash. Pelicans bomb me every week. It would be nice to take a winter break and just do the projects I want to do instead of cleaning poop. Glad your in the water.

There are some benefits to heated inside winter storage. I'm able to clean, wax, bottom paint, etc. and get some projects done that are more difficult to do while using the boat like removing the mast and moving the steaming and anchor lights and horns to the bridge. I debated removing the mast but it just became a trip/eye hazard and I wanted to replace all navigation lights with LED's.

OMG I still have 27" of ice in my slip on the St. Croix River in Minnesota. I'm very jealous!!!

Major good news Kevin! But you still have to wait till June when Lake St.Claire floats by!

Fortunately for us, that stuff from Lake St. Clair will all melt before it reaches Put-In-Bay. There was some skim ice at the Casino docks at Kelly's Island on Sunday but not enough to stop us from docking and going to the Village Pump for perch baskets and brandy alexanders. Life is good...

Kevin- not surecif your certifiable or genius? But if your suckin down Brandy Alexander's already, you surely have it figured out. Just starting to get my list under control for a much later launch. Bravo.
