20 years and counting…

Just realized today makes it 20 years since I bought my 53…. Time flies!

Quite a bit has changed since that day incl the repower, chiller installation, galley up conversion, master/midship merge and fwd stateroom queen. Back then the old girl struggled to top 13 kts, now she hits 19kts!

Hoping for another 20 years!

That picture was taken a couple of days after closing, and yes I still have the 1972 E-type!

Amazing Pascal! So is your galley up remodel completely finished? If you haven’t posted pics do sometime because I was loving the last ones I saw before it was done. Loved the tv lift. I’m definitely copying that someday when I have more time!

Our member with the longest Hatteras ownership, I think, is Jim with 'Fanfare'- must be pushing fifty years, now.

doc, good thing you are not a math teacher, he has had it since new in 1966. thats 57 years give or take depending on what month he bought her

I'm at the 20 year mark back in June. Many gallons of ablative, rum and fuel.

Most of interior is done, still have some trim, baseboards and some headliners tweak. Now the work is mostly outside like paint etc. I v whist done some core repairs on the foredeck and did the non skid. Still a couple more years to go

40 years in Chris Crafts and the best 7 years in my HATTERAS. Love this boat.

I should also have mentioned that it makes 20 years since I started living aboard.

I never was any good at math. This is obvious.

I bought my Hatteras in 1991, I think, so 32 years, now.

Those are some very impressive years of Stewardship by all that shared there years of ownership. I can even imagine the projects that have been completed by all.
