I would. But I would not be in a hurry and pick my weather windows, more from a comfort standpoint than a safety standpoint. And I would pick stopping points that are to windward if possible. A beam or rear quarter sea is not the most comfortable. The Naiads will help though.

For another $500k you can pick up the converted shrimp boat. It can go anywhere.

Make a cash offer in a quick deal, and the price could possibly be the same.

I have over 10 years on the Chesapeake Bay with a 48 foot Chris Craft Roamer experience, over 4 years in San Diego with a 45 foot sailboat and more than that in the Chesapeake Bay with a 42 foot Jeanneau. I do not have much pure ocean time with any boat. I was wondering if this boat will be seaworthy enough to make the trip for Florida to the US Virgin Islands.

Simple response...no problem!! My wife and I made the trip from Florida to Grenada via Canada on a 48 Hatt MY. We were stabilized. And....we were very weather conscious. A great trip.

That's a really nice looking boat. That paint job alone was huge bucks. HOF member doc g owns the same boat. Perhaps he will weigh in.

During the late 80's our boat went as far south as Grenada. All the original maps and routes were on board when we purchased the boat.

Nicely done interior.
