Is this the one that was done for the owner of Lamb’s by his yard in Jacksonville? IIRC, he was a past president of a surveyors association. When was last there I was told that he was given a pair of engines by Cummins as a reward for doing a number of Cummins conversions in previous years and that this was where he put them. I wanted to buy that boat, but it went under contract before I could get there to see her.

Looks like the repower is about all she has going for her. Too many years in Key West from the look of things, and what's up with those wood floors?

Besides running in the wrong direction, are they distressed or in distress?

WAY too much money for that condition.

Her value is in her location if it has guaranteed dockage available. Lots of large yachts are being bought for Air BnB rentals in Florida. Considering the high prices of hotel rooms in Key West, this boat would quickly pay for itself without ever starting a engine.

The repower is 25 years old... 1996. Rebuilt in 2013...

B series make no sense as a repower engine in the these boats... little price difference with the Cs by the time you factor in the work, new engine beds, etc. and you end up with a trawler. Lots of red flags in the pics. Engine rooms, missing weather boards, etc

That’s a $100k boat.

Lots of soot in engines rooms.

That's why I was curious how she ran with the Bs. I would love to see performance numbers.

No performance with Bs... I doubt she’ll get over 11kts

I thought the same thing, but I would think if there is an assumable lease for the dock, it would have been mentioned in the listing as that would be a major selling point. She definitely has that Air BnB look and has probably been used in that capacity.

USCG is cracking down hard on illegal charters in SoFl including B&B at the dock. Yes, even at the dock you can’t have more guest on board and you need a licensed captain.

Ha Ha! That wood is Home Depot tigerwood engineered flooring. Same as in my toy hauler camper garage. Original floor rotted and after replaced with 3/4” PT plywood I used this as an easy way for DIY flooring. It actually has held up well considering we haul motocross bikes, a 4 wheeler, and a golf cart. Plus all the gear and tools.

Hello, I just joined the Hatteras Yachts site and I saw this thread on the Hatteras 58 Yachtfish mentioned above. I could not help but notice you mention that you had wanted to buy that particular boat so I wanted to mention to you that I am currently in touch with the seller of a 1979 Hatteras 58 Yachtfish that is just beautiful. I didnt know if that would be of interest to you but I thought I would mention it in the event you might be. It is a beautiful Hatteras and is a fresh water boat and has been for many years.
If you are interested, please feel free to drop me a line and I can provide more details.
