Has been on Craigslist at 169,000.00 as I recall

Looks like a nice boat. Could be a bargain for someone.

Given the many spelling errors in the add (something I am guilty of as well) as well as the nature of those errors, I have a hunch that the seller may not have title (or clear title) to the boat. Looks like it could be a bit of a scam to me.

Literacy doesn't seem to preclude yacht ownership or the marketing thereof.

Does the rice and fried chicken go with it?

You know these old MYs had great slow speed hulls like the series I 48 MY. THey work well at any speed. So you can get a huge hatteras trawler like vessel for real cheap, put a couple 300hp Cats or Cummins. NExt you need a hot tub and ping pong table on that aft deck. Look at the size of that aft deck! And for $2 million less than a 70 Nordy.

More importantly, does the Swedish living room come with Swedish bikini models?

ROFLOL!!! Doesn't seem to preclude discussion on how to fix them either! Like I always say, it's the thought that counts. :D

I agree.

It always sounds odd when the listing says they are selling it for a friend. It's the same boat that was on Craigslist with no phone number:

I like the photo with the scrambled eggs all over the place. Very classy. Makes me want to bid immediately. Or hurl.

Check out this months issue of BoatUS. 2 different guys got ripped off from the same bogus escrow company on boats that didn't exist. They sent the money and made arrangements for the boats to be surveyed, the surveyors show up and guess what..no boat, no money.
