1975 53 MY salon aft ac drain

I had to take this airhandlereapart last summer to clear it so it would drain .A real Pia. It's stopped up again and we need to know where I terminates so I can vacuum it out.I checked the Seacrest in the master bedroom and I don't think it's there. Any ideas guys?

Mine runs to the shower sump.


In 1975 I think they just ran into the bilge near the bilge pump.

on my earlier 53 Aft AH is on the port side and drains into the aft port sea chest in the master closet. I don’t see why they send it to a shower sump since it s high up.

Well this online in the starboard aft corner of the salon. It's so hot here that we have to run it and it's dripping into the bath sink I can see where it goes down but it's a bitch to get to .So who is the 53my guru I need to call to get this done?someone has to know.

Sorry. I read the original post wrong. I thought you were asking about the master SR AC. My salon AC goes down to the sea chest in engine room.

On the starboard side the sea chest is under the sink. Very hard to reach. Should be easier to get to the hose at the top, at the AH and use water pressure to blow stuff out

Aft stbd sea chest is under the master head sink. It’s a pita to reach if you still have the original cabinetry in the head. So if your aft salon AC is on starboard side, that where the condensate drain ends up. Easier to pull the air handler cabinet, disconnect the hose on the pan and blow pressured water thru

Our aft salon AC drains to the sea chest behind the shower in the aft (master) head, starboard side. Can be accessed by removing the panel in the shower stall.
