Hello folks , I have inherited a 48 YF and I have limited knowledge about this vessel. It has been somewhat scavenged and missing a few parts like wheels ! Looking for someone who may have a boat like this so I can pick your brain . I especially need wheel specs as there are none currently on my boat ! Any help would be appreciated. I'm also looking for copies of any diagrams if anyone is willing to share. Thanks

Posted on your other thread and was going to suggest looking at a 48YF that's in Pensacola (assuming you are in LA), but it appears the listing is no longer on Yachtworld. Not many of those boats around, and I was actually going to try and look at it when I'm down there in a couple of weeks.

Anybody know anything about that one? As memory serves, it was listed through Frank Gordon.

Thanks Randy. I am in LA, Lower Alabama lol. I'm going to look around my area here and see what I might stumble across . I may ride over to Pcola also

Yeah, I peeked at your profile and figured you might be in LA. :D

That 48YF in Pensacola looked really good in the photos. It was a FSBO on Boat Trader, then it was listed on Yachtworld. I don't know how long it had been on the market, but it had recent paint and a number of upgrades. Very slick looking boat, and as I recall, the price had been dropped to $79K.

Why I was going to look at it, I can't tell you, but I really do like those boats. Can't remember the name, but I'm sure I would recognize it if somebody threw out some choices. There can't be that many 48YF's in Pensacola, so I was hoping somebody might know the boat.

randy, did it have maroon stripes? if so it was named after a wine??? dont remember now but i tied up next to it several years ago in pcola

Billy, I don't recall any maroon stripes or it being named after a wine. The most distinguishable feature was twin sat domes on the bridge. It was an active listing on Yachtworld just a couple of weeks ago, but now it's gone.

Billy ,would you be thinking of the Ron Burgundy? That is the former name of mine and it was out of pcola at one time

i dont remember the ron part but burgundy sounds right

My apologies. I meant the Reel Burgundy. That is the former name of mine. I tried to correct but it wouldn't let me lol. This boat does have a maroon stripe and was out of Pensacola at one time , could be the same one
