Where was the water heater located in a 1974 43DC? Thanks

don't know 1974, but, my 1979, has it outboard under the dinette hatch, a real monster to get out....

On my 1973 it's located in the front corner of the starboard motor... When I had the original 19 gal one went bad, I had to take it out in pieces. Only size I could get back in there, without cutting 2X4 supports was a 12 gal one....

Ditto Bill and Charlie on 1976 43DC. My replacement was also 12 gallon model.

Thanks, I'm goinjg to install a 2.5 gallon that I had on my previous boat.

Mine was and the replacement is under the port vberth. Last year I installed a 7 gallon bosch. It works great. Two adult showers easy. reheats in in 1 hour.

Mine is also in the starboard front corner, it is currently bypassed, trying to figure out how to get a new one in as there isn't enough room to remove and reinstall one.
