It's always interesting seeing what shows up for sale on eBay. Just saw a listing pop up for a 1973
45C, with an opening bid of $5,000 and a buy-it-now price of $10,000. Listing says the boat is in
WPB, FL.

As tIm would say, "too good to be true"????

Not if its shot. Many boats have a negative value as the cost to store or dispose of them isn't cheap.

871n boats are not in high demand. It said an engine lost water or something like that and needs a rebuild. Interior seems a bit off so after 40K for 2 rebuilds you have a 30 boat.

She does look decent for the price. If that engine could be fixed by an owner/mechanic she could be a good deal.

I tried scheduling a viewing of this boat, but it was under contract ($35k). After a couple weeks I was contacted that the price had dropped to $15k then to $5k. Apparently the survey revealed a laundry list of major issues, including both engines.
