Hatteras Model
Not Currently A Hatteras Owner
Hi guys, I just bought a 1973 43 DC and am looking for the 110V wiring diagram. The previous owner changed some wires in one outlet and the port side of the boat is without electricity. If anybody could help me, I would appreciate it. Thanks

All original wiring diagrams came with the boat. If they are not there, call Hatteras and get new copies to keep on board. They will need your hull #.

I have the drawings in pdf format ... send me an email to: eze2bme@aol.com and put "Hatteras" in the subject line.

Don't count in everything being the same on 2the similar vessels or even as it is on your drawings. Get the ones for your boat and confirm everything is as it should be.

That's right. eze2bme has a 1979 model. Yours is a 1973. The chances of the wiring not changing over that time frame is slim. Call Hatteras and get the drawing for YOUR boat.

Anybody knows the phone number or email for Hatteras?? All I could find was to send them a message and they re-directed that message to my local dealer. Thanks

micky, the number is 252-633-3101

Micky:

If all else fails, send a post to Robby Bendall. He owns a 1973 43DCMY. I sold it to him a couple of years ago. There was a complete set of drawings that went with it. Although the boat had been completely refit in 2003, most of the wiring was as original, except for electronics.

Mickey,

Please let us know if your attempt to get the original paperwork is successful. There was a lady at Hatt who handled that for years and she was superb. I understand she is no longer there and it would be really sad if that service left with her. Hope you are able to get the docs for your specific boat; they are invaluable!

Mike P, they sent me the wiring diagrams. The person's name is Paul Hall.
