  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
34' CONVERTIBLE (1965 - 1969)
So my Good friend Bob that had Magic Hat a 1967 34C that was two hull #s off of mine and had one original chair that I always liked. So 10 + years ago Bob promised it to me that when Magic was sold or anything else the chair was mine. Well Bob being a man of his word never forgot and after Sandy took Magic Hat away from him the chair was giving to me. Magic hat also was the first 34C I was ever on and had a few cocktail hrs aboard her over the years and Hatteras told bob according to are build #s they were side by side in the factory so lots of sentimental value here. But the chair did not match my décor so off to Keith at Ke per enterprises a true artist when it comes to canvas and upholstery! Keith called me after it was stripped and he pulled about 1000 staples it was recovered more than once it seemed and no one pulled the old staples which does not fly with Keith for a top quality job. I asked him we need to do anything to the frame? He answered with a solid NO you don’t see them built like this anymore!

So here are some before during and after shots look to see how the frame curved base is cut from solid boards.
While it was stripped I took black marker and wrote on the frame Magic Hat 1967 to 2012 End of the Line 2013 to ????

So today at Noon the chair is heading to her new home aboard End of the Line :D

If you look at the middle picture you will see hidem to cover the seam well you can't buy hidem for ultra leather!
So Keith made his own !

Hi All,

Wonderful work.

Keith did a great job, It looks new !

Very nice! He's right, that is some substantial looking construction. I'll bet even my kid couldn't break that.
