I have decided to put up my 1967 Hatteras 44 TC for sale so that I can get into a 58 Motoryacht. I have owned it since March 31, 2016 and have put a ton of effort and money into her to bring her closer to her original glory. She was manufactured in 1967 and was the 74th 44 TC to be produced. She has twin Detroit 8V71 Naturals with a little over 6200 hrs on both engines and starts up with no effort and smokes for less than a five seconds. I have installed a new Mastervolt 50amp charger, 4 brand new 8D batteries, new high output alternator on starboard engine, All new 8" wet exhaust hose, Oil pressure senders and gauges, Temperature senders and gauges. The Westerbeke 8kw generator received a new exhaust manifold, heat exchanger, hoses, thermostat, and temp sensor and runs great. The bottom was painted in April of 2016 and new zincs installed. I just purchased but have not installed yet a Standard Horizon GX2200 VHF w/AIS Radio. I had no plans to sell her but my family is now growing and will need a larger vessel to accommodate us.
