  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
34' CONVERTIBLE (1965 - 1969)
So been meaning to post this a been a few months since I found this on my boat!
Yes went to the bridge and found it up there since the bridge stays nice and dry a Good Friend left this for me and did not tell me. It took a few weeks before I found out who It was, I was racking my brain for a while trying to figure out who it was!

This is a 1967 original and is a 9 + on a scale to 10. Never even new they had them But now I have one anyone else have one?

Just make sure you all notice that the 34C is shown the most must be faith :-)

That is very cool! Looks like it's in excellent condition too. Thanks for sharing.

Sweet! Feel like I should be bidding on it!

Maybe share all the images with SAMS so they can post them somewhere on the fourm?

Then again, I guess they're already posted on the fourm in this thread!

Well don't think they are here anywhere like I said never seen one before. I have had people tell me that I can have it scanned and duplicated. I was thinking about that but I decide I didn't want to bother. I am willing to send it to Doug if he want to do it which he might if enough members so Interest? Ill send Doug a pm.

It's possible to take all the photos and put them in one pdf file. I can do that pretty easily if I have all the photos.

But then again maybe Doug can post them to the gallery which may be easier. Just thinking of an easy way to find it without knowing about this thread.

I got a couple of the calenders at the 67 NY show. But being 12 years old I cut them up and had the pics tacked up in my bedroom wall. From what I remember Hatt didnt make another calender till 1970 I did get one of them which is still intact. The '70 has the 74' shrimp trawler on it which I thought would make a bad ass sportfish. I only saw one down in Lauderdale at the little marina on the south side of the 17th st bridge. I was pretty dissapointed as the finish was'nt typical Hatt. But then again it was targeted as a commercial boat. Now that would be the boat to make into a LRC.

Any chance you would be willing to scan the 1970 calendar? I have a 1971 Hatteras, a 36C- maybe that's one of the ones they picked for the calendar. I can always hope, right?

Thanks for posting the above, it is extremely cool.

45 years later, October 2012 still going strong. Actually July 2011, but I'm sure everyone gets it. Thanks for posting the calander.

Actually it wouldn't be that hard to create a calendar just like that today with some vintage photos, a decent printer and a binder. Possible copyright issues aside, how much would it cost to put together a vintage Hatteras calendar for 2013? And would enough of our sometimes notoriously cheap members pony up to make it worthwhile for a Hatteras affiliated company that already does graphic work to give it a try?

Hint, hint. ;)

I might even buy 2. Great Idea

I am partial to the 34C but the 50C IMO has perfect lines.

RS, the old girl does 30k in the corner @2340rpm and cruises 26k @ 1950rpm fully loaded.
