1966 Riva

Mechum auto auction was last weekend in St Cloud FL. A 1966 Riva that was fully restored sold for close to 800k, reserve was 1mm then owner backed off once the bidding hit high 700k range. I never thought any runabout would be worth that kind of money. The original owner of the boat ws the founder of Crusader Marine Engines.

Rich people sure are funny huh?

I remember seeing a Riva Superamerica at my marina many years ago. That was my first introduction to them, and I honestly couldn't see why they were so expensive.
