15 KW Onan for sale

I am in the process of removing a 15 KW Onan generator from my boat. This generator is a mid 70's model that runs great, starts right away with no smoke. I am replacing it with a new smaller unit. The generator does not have a sound shield and is also missing the air cleaner (they were not there when I purchased the boat originally). I am located in the San Francisco Bay area and am asking $2200.00. I could bolt the generator to a pallet for shipping.

Yes, I still have it but, it has been sitting outside since I removed it from the boat and I couldn't guarantee what condition it is in now. In order to remove it from the boat, I had to remove the generator from the engine so, it is now in two pieces. It ran when I removed it. The only reason I replaced it was because I got a killer deal on a new genset and was off to Alaska and jumped at the new one. If you are still interested after these disclosures, make me an offer. Are you looking for a replacement generator or parts?

I am in Alaska now and the internet is spotty at best. If you respond, it might take me a while to get back to you but, I will respond. The generator is in Alameda, CA at my son's house.

I have the 15kW Onan MDJF out of my 1979 46C... 3000hours and ran great when i removed it. Just needs to be cleaned up and the H/E resealed, perhaps some paint? Sound shield was not there when i bought the boat. I may still have some of the soft sound shield material at work? I wrapped it over the top and it worked well.
I also replaced the 15kW w/ a smaller set as i could not load the 15kW up here in the Pacific NW.
