Are port and stb different? They look the same from the outside. Also wher is a good place to have mine rebuilt or to buy a new or rebuilt one???...............Pat

On all 2 cycle Detroits, all of the engine driven accessories turn the same direction regardless of crankshaft rotation. The idler gear is moved from one side to the other in the gear train to maintain correct rotation. Even the cams rotate the same direction. All you have to do is take a standard rotation camshaft, swap it end for end and move it to the opposite side of the engine and you have a reverse rotation camshaft.
