  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
43' DOUBLE CABIN (1970 - 1984)
Anyone know a local south Florida source for these other than DD ? I can get Lubrafiner in Canada for 15.00 ea DD here wants 23.00.

NAPA can usually cross reference and supply DD filters.

Try Diesel Pro Power in Miami, at 888-433-4735, or www.dieselpro.com. I've found oil filters for both the cartridge style and spin-on style through them, as well as other parts. They'll ship pretty much anywhere too.

I found Napa 's cross is usually 20 microns..

if you get a good associate at napa, they can cross any part number. you can also go to mynapa.com i am not affiliated to napa, just used them for 25 years for my old job.

With the exchange rate, isn't that about the same price?

Krush that's not the point.

He wants the better filters at the lowest price. That's all that matters so after everyone spends hours tracking down options he may save $10.00

I second Diesel Pro, I purchase my filters and engine parts from these guys. Good customer service too. I replaced my cartridge oil filters last year with spin-ons using their adapters. Much easier now and less messy.

6 at a time makes a difference but not to moneybags Scott.

So that's $30 - $35.

That's almost lunch for a man of your position.

I'm pretty sure boating is not cheap. Burning 150 gallons of fuel to run to Ft. Pierce for lunch and back is fun. Running 50 miles offshore to chase fish is fun. Hearing you complain about a few dollars every time you do something is not. Get off your wallet and stop complaining. You own 2 large vessels and it's annoying to those who actually spend the money it I takes to keep these vessels running.
