I've listed my '86 52 Hatteras for sale and would appreciate anyone looking for a clean very original 52 with 8V92TA's @750hp. Engines have approximately 700 hours since overhauls and on board paperwork supports the maintenance the boat has received over the years. Please take a look at the...
I am putting the orig. MR-10 Galley Maid 32V freshwater pump back in place and forget how it's supposed to be wired. The pressure switch (external) is gone so I have to order one from Raz but in the interim how does the pump get wired? I've got the Red, Yellow and Green 32V leads in the...
Hoses are due for replacement on inspection of my 74 36C. Is the only way to replace these two pieces to haul and remove shafts? Both hoses are substantial in thickness about 9" long and double clamped on the stuffing box and the shaft tube. Second question is it appears the orig shaft tubes...

I'm getting ready to start this project on my 36C and wondered if anyone has rebuilt the hatches as the current units are saggy and generally worn on the corners. I have a total of 6 hatches in the salon, four approx. 5' long x 18" wide and two approx. 2.5' x 18" wide. Is it easier to rebuild...

Received an email from the broker stating this boat now 125K as is where is. Talk about how low can things go. Not my...
I know we've all seen the informercials but has anyone ever used one of these for cleaning up in the engine room. I want to touch up the engines and was hoping to use something low pressure like this to help me do it. I found this unit at Target just don't want to waste 100.00 bucks if they...
Has anyone gone through the process of removing floor hatches on this model? What's involved in terms of disconnecting underside cabling, electrical, etc???
One of my evaporator coils iced up over the weekend. Upon inspection after melting the ice the coil fins were quite dirty, this particular coil is hard to get to as the face of the coil is buried in the back of a cabinet and I was hoping to use a no rinse type of cleaner that uses the...
Has anyone seen this site before?
Not all manufacturers are listed but look at the markup on Tiara's for instance, especially the larger boats!

Do you use one tank at a time switching manually via valves to the other tank or do you leave all tanks on and utilize water from both tanks simultaneously? If both are left on what happens if one empties before the other.
See the link below, expensive, but hopeful somebody on here has tried one and is satisfied. I'm sick of the rule switches that consistently fail to work.

Over this weekend I noted my starboard engine was a little slow to come up to speed, would start and idle fine but when called on to accelerate would go to about 1500 and slow until the port brought the boat up to speed then starboard picked up rpms and ran fine. This happened twice. When back...
I pulled seldom used 50 amp cord yesterday and found it didn't fit my dockside 50 amp outlet. The dockside is 125/250v and my main cord fits fine. I looked closer at the older cord and noted it stated 50 amp 125 v. No 250v designation. Is it possible to use this cord with my system by adding...
I just ordered a replacement icemaker kit for a Uline and have a question as to how difficult these are to replace once it arrives. The motor on the existing kit is shot and seized up and I couldn't free it. I'm assuming I'll have to remove the unit from it's cabinet mount to get to the wiring...
Have a transom with no swim platform, transom door. RIB is a 12' Triumph Hard Rib with Center console and cleats front and rear for mooring. When leaving or approaching docks need to secure boat to transom for slow maneuvering. My question is what's best method to do this. Tie along side or...
