Finally got the new staple rails made and installed, found a guy in town that could bend the 2” pipe. Kind of makes the boat look like a Mega Yacht(lol). Should make getting out of the dingy a lot easier as we age.

Just installed this Trident Premium toilet hose, incredible stuff, very flexible, with wire reinforcement and double layer for Oder control. Only downside is it is very expensive, but it looks like an item where you get what you pay for. I had some tough bends to make.

If you haven’t seen the March issue, get it. It has a great article on the 2 navy ship collisions in detail. Amazing bunch of mistakes by the Navy personnel and lots of blame. A combination of ships becoming to complicated and training being to little. John

Ok need engine experts help. If I drain the fresh water from the drain on the manifold on a 8-71 will that pet cock drain the entire fresh water system or just what in in the manifold. Another words am I looking at a gallon or so or 8 plus gallons. Thanks in advance, John

Has anyone replaced their air operated wiper motors with 12 volt motors and if so where did you get the motors? The problem I am having is the shaft length. The glass is so thick where mine are the shaft is about 2 1/2 inches long and I can’t find anything that long. Help, John
