Went to Lowes yesterday and created the below for about 12 bucks including the nozzle. Worked great to clear a clog deep in the system. (in this case apparently at the manifold in the engine room where three or four systems joined together...I say this because to my surprise the other long...
2011 Raymarine E120 wide MFD (multi function display) software V2.49, works fine for everything else (GPS, depth, video cameras, autopilot, Sirius weather) but the radar has gradually crapped out ...and now is totally kaput.
* Radar is 2011 Raymarine RA1072SHD 72" Super HD digital open array...
That model has no "lens" in front of the halogen lamp such that water could get in the housing around the edges of the rectangular lamp. There is a drain hole at the lowest point in the cover, but I still wonder if there are issues with the water prematurely rusting the horizontal and vertical...

Bought one and amazed at how clear the image is. Great for poking into dark inaccessible places on your boat. My current use...
The three D cells are encased in a thin plastic cover held together by one strip of tape at the edges. Slice that edge of tape and the case opens up to reveal the goodies. It occurred to me I have an adjustable 0- 30 VDC output test box at the shop and I should probably connect that to it and...
Funny to me anyway as I found this totally corroded cylindrical thing under the flybridge that looked important. Nothing else under there is corroded, but this thing looks horrible.
So I take some photos of the barely legible info on the sticker and via Google figure out it's a Fiamm Tipo...
Below are pix of Always Late, Hatteras 53ED hardtop. (I had to get to a proper computer to post these as earlier reply was on antique iPad One)
This is the prettiest Hatteras I've ever seen (exterior, anyway) The hardtop was installed by previous owner who actually advertised the boat for...
In this case ACR Satellite 2, 406 model. apparently made in 1999 with replacement date of 3/2013. Came with boat. Seems to work via suggested LED tests, but battery must be getting long in the tooth by now.
Is battery user changeable if one is savy with electronics and soldering ?
FWIW, below is photo of mine with new compressor and Parker dryer at the front. Not real pretty but it works. I have tool box that goes next to it and obscures it anyway. (bolted to the tubular frame around the generator)
Bought a used (2006) Avon Seasport 360 Deluxe inflatable. After sitting for a month I went to add some air for the first time since I bought it. I thought it a little odd there is only one inflation valve but pumped in some air expecting all the tube chambers to inflate...but it only inflates...
Got two of these that work fine but no backlight. Wondering if it's just bulbs burned out after 22 years. I don't really need them that much as another transducer is integrated with the Raymarine E 120 displays depth and fish/bottom contours in color, but alway good to have a backup...but a...
Ever seen a source for these, with the light at the tips ? No hint of a name on the switch body itself. For now, only need a simple N/O one with 2 terminals but they are configured in as many as 5 terminals.
One neat thing about them is you can easily take them apart and smooth over any...
Below are pictures I found of the Hatteras 54ED/62 engine room I mentioned earlier. Photos don't really do it justice but better than nothing.
A screenshot from PDF file I saved of the brochure.
No part number as the sticker is blank from age. 1993 vintage. On back are connections for +, -, and ground. So, from those connections, it looks like just a voltmeter really.
If resistance based I would think terminals would be labeled +, ground and send. Agree ?
I ask as I think...
Viking has 4 of them that work fine but look crappy...probably because they are all aluminum. E-Tech was in Rivera Beach, FL but seems to be kaput now. Plenty of SS flush mount rod holders out there but I haven't seen any like this yet....the exposed flanges are perfectly round, 3 7/8"...
Suspect this has already been posted but I couldn't bring it up in a search here Interesting comments by Slane in there.

Red Loctite or thin style nylon locknut.....yes, there is so little space in the bracket a normal thickness 3/8" locknut is too tall ! But being in the business I'm in I just happen to have some thin nylon 3/8 locknuts, so good to go. Already made a new mount plate on the CNC mill...
Bulwark style forward deck
Aft deck, which was extended at some point by a previous owner.
Note the only exterior teak on the entire vessel are those two little round tables....which is fine with me ! And even they are in the shade.
cockpit and storage. Port side will hold two...
