I'm looking for some leads on who to insure my new to me 1983 53MY with. I have Chubb right now for my other boat which will be sold. They gave my two quotes, one almost $4k the other I need to fill out a "caretaker" plan before they give me the actual cost so I'm shopping around for someone else.

I'm still on the hunt for a decent 1979 and newer 53MY.

Looking at a 53my with the naturals and one with turbos, both have almost the same hours 3k and look in decent shape. I will of course have either motor surveyed but I'm wondering if there is a preference for longevity and upkeep. Are the N's underpowered without a turbo? Most of these boats...
