need to replace fwd. port shaft on 1979 46 sportfish. This is the thruhull shaft, it is pitted at stuffing box area. 2" x 95". Also consider set of one piece shafts at 11' 11".

looking at a 1968 41 and a 1972 45, both convertibles. Do these have cored decks and house? Also ride/handling/sea keeping comparisons. Cruising area will be south florida/bahamas area. The 41 has 8-53N's and the 45 has 8-71N's

This is kind of a follow up to previous post, anyone know this boat? Also anyone recommend a good detroit deisel surveyor in key largo area. What would I expect to pay? These are 871ti's; is a full survey with compression test etc..necessary.
