The chine blocks we use, basically a scissor made from starboard with a 6x6 on each end. Most have a rope between the 2 First saw this set up at Sunset Marina in OCMD and then made a set for ourselves. By far the best set up I've ever used.
Getting off the beach. Rudders cut right thru, surprised to see the prop still there. Not sure if there's any other bottom holing. Heard some the frames in the ER are cracked/broken, probably from rolling in the surf. They removed the engine and fuel before starting the moving process.
We were lucky Cricket made it through, water got right to the top of the keel at the stern. Our dock wasn't as lucky. Nothing compared to how many are suffering.
