    Forum comparison

I have ventured into other forums, Boat US for one, noticed Pascal is a member there as well. I must say on the Tech side no comparison, especialy in the diesel arena, you diesel owners have the upper hand here. As most of you know We have a 34c with 454's, I am no expert on these motors...

    boating comradery

I was talking to another forum member yesterday and the comment was made that although one member who is on "double secret probation" may have been a PITA in some cases, he was the catalyst for bringing people together. comradery within this forum has been much tigter since his joining up...

    forum request

There is a lot of talk about performance with which engine , gear ratio and props etc. I think it would be a good idea to have a place on user info that identifies the boat you have , what engines, transmissions, props, performance at cruise and WOT, performance to include speed and fuel...

I noted for the first time that there is barnicle growth inside the sea strainer going to the Condensing Unit water pump. Can barnicles grow inside the condensor? I remember some of you put chorine tablets in the strainer but some thought it may be too corrosive to the system. Would Bromine...

is there any real advantage to gel batteries? We had a 4D gel and an 8D gel. the 4D is fried. was thinking of saving some and replacing it with a regular led acid. 8D Gel runs the Starboard engine and house. the 4D runs the Port engine and bridge. Gas engines.
