Trimming and fairing of the support blocks continue. The starboard support block trimming is complete and the port support block is expected to be complete by tomorrow. Then the dry fit with the actuator mounted will be performed. Once the orientation and mounting position of...
The installation of my new NIAID stabilizer system started on 1/12/22 at Atlantic Yacht Basin.
I've already started a thread on The Trawler Forum.

I chose the NIAID system for multiple reasons:

I have a possible line on a tender and it's currently located in Charleston on boat that is being sold.
Would anyone be local to Charleston harbor that would be willing to take a look at this tender for me?
PM me and I can provide my contact information.....
Thanks!
PS.... I also posted this...
I'm in the market for a tender in very good condition. Would prefer a used model less than 5 years old.
The Ideal tender for me would be a Nouvrania 400DL model with a 40 HP engine. Here's the basic specs for a Nouvrania 400DL..
SPECIFICATIONS
Length 4.0 m 13′1″

I have to replace both my forward portlights since they were blown out in Delaware Bay. When I looked at the ones I have in my "stock", I found out that they are basically one piece with the trim ring being on the outside. Looking at the currently installed portlights (whatever is left of them)...
Miss Maggie has been making her way south from Mystic down to Chesapeake Virginia.
We were suppose to stay at the Canyon Club in Cape May last right but a full moon super low tide and strong NW winds with a low tide 4 foot approach squashed those plans. We decided to cross through the Cape May...
Miss Maggie will be going to Atlantic Yacht Basin in Chesapeake for stabilizer install and other refit type work. I'll be leaving from Mystic CT and plan to go west through LI Sound... through NYC... outside to Delaware Ricer... through C&D canal and down ICW to Chesapeake.
Looking to leave...

When I replaced my unit, I simply pulled the dryer vent...
Well... it's a long story and I will post that up at some point, but I'm trying to source a new Northern Lights 20 kW generator with 12V control voltage.
Seems COVID has put a clamp on the marine generator supply chain as well.
The Model Number would be M844LW-3.
Anyone know anyone?
The starter is a Delco P/N 1114925 which is a 32 VDC, Model 40 MT, CCW rotation (aka Left Hand). The other unusual aspect of this starter is that the solenoid is mounted at the 6 o'clock position which is underneath the starter. Normal orientation for the solenoid is for the solenoid to be...
Here is the size I have on Miss Maggie and it pushes her bow pretty good. I also have the seven blade high performance prop which helps.
Don't forget the zinc while you're at it.
Mine is also 24V. I have two Northstar AGM batteries that power the thruster which provides good thrust and enough...
Bought this new in March 2020 for my homeport slip which is a fixed dock and I could not deploy my regular steps. Right after I bought it, I was able to change slips to a T-dock slip and could use my regular stairs. The gangway basically sat on the boat for a few weeks and was never used or...
