I want to have a proper place to primarily store my large long fenders.
On floating docks, I have the 36" round fenders that I deploy hanging from the rail. My home slip is a floating dock so these are the ones that are deployed most often. I also have four 12" diameter x 36" long fenders that...
The Marine Mat product is a "sheet" that's approximately 44" x 88". Therefore, it will have to be seamed. The installer had said that the seam will basically be invisible.
They came to "template" the aft deck today. Also had them "template" the cockpit.
The process they use is basically a...
Looking for a recommendation for a marina in Sarasota, FL for a casual 1-2 night weekend stay.
Looking at Marina Jack, but they have only about 15 transient slips with no face dock for easy in/out. Not always easy to find a transient "slip" that can accommodate an 18' beam.
Thoughts/suggestions?
Looks like I will need to replace my main rear engine seal sooner or later. See other thread.
Anyone know of a good DD 2-stroke mechanic in St. Pete/Sarasota/Bradenton, FL area?

Miss Maggie is a 1976 58 LRC. She has Allison Model MH30 3:1 transmissions with oil coolers.
While checking the oil level for a recent trip I noticed the oil was dark in color on my starboard side. It does not smell unusual or "burnt". It does not have a gritty feel to it. Oil drive pressure...
Have only been in Florida waters for less than a year and am tired of cleaning my A/C strainer every couple weeks... or more.
Came across this product and was wondering if the claims meet the expectations in real life. It's pretty pricey at about $6850 for the just cost of the equipment for my...
I need to have a car picked up and transported from Chesapeake, VA to the Tampa/St. Pete area. I definitely want to put it on a car carrier and not hire someone to drive it.
Anyone know anyone they trust with a car with lots of memories?
Thanks!
My steering has become very sluggish. I had bled the system and topped off the hydraulic fluid a few weeks ago. The steering was better but far from optimum.

I could have just bolted it direct to the fan housing... however I chose to attach the above transition piece to the fan outlet flange. I did this by using West System and...
Now for the kinda part.....
The transition piece from the blower inlet (center of the blower) to the evaporator was a little rusty... so I took out the old wire wheel and took it out to the dock to knock off the rust and repaint.... well I was 99% done and there was this one little spot...

I am resurrecting this thread due to a failed blower for my Guest Stateroom evaporator.
I have 5 AC units and all of them are split R22 systems. All compressors are located in the engine room and the evaporators are located in their respective spaces for cooling.
The blower unexpectedly...
