Why do I have very hot water comming out of the galley sink and the forward (bow) head? I have allready checked the water heater, it's turned off and is cold to the touch. the guest and master head water is cool as it should be with the heater off. I'm guessing the heat off the generator is...

Here I am prepping the boat for the regatta tomarrow. just as I was ready to go home, I go to wash my hands at the sink and there is no water pressure. so with soapy hands i head over to the pump and see that the pressure is zero and the pump is not running. there is also a tanish/brown heat...

As we begin another nail biter hurricane season, I have been thinking of other ways of protecting our boats. I for one am not comfortable leaving my boat in it's slip in a large (upper cat 1 or min cat 2) hurricane. Especially in an exposed marina like ours. My plan is simple, move! Of course...
