Do the owners of dark painted hulls notice any increased effort to cool, down below in the summer. Darker colors generally absorb more heat. Edward

We don't see many crewed private yachts around here , but I don't think I have ever seen a female Captain. Are there many employed, or is it I don't get out much. I would think a female crew would work well . Edward

How much training/instruction would be required to safely handle a motor yacht ( 58' yacht/fish) in my local area? Any cruising outside of area, a experienced captain would be employed. My experience consists of owning / operating a 25' outboard. Thanks, Edward
