Your 40 DC is in very nice shape from these pictures. I hope I can consult you every now and then if I need any advice.
I have a 1989 40 DC (original, non-majored Crusader Gas 454's and an Onan gas 9kv). I have owned it for four years. The admiral has been decorating this summer (carpet, palsteak flooring, valances, draperies, bedding) so I do not have new photo's to put on the forum yet, but hope to do so in the next week. My boat is fresh water and has a few interesting improvements done by the PO such as a 5 foot swim platform; a full size salon door, and a custom helm. I also have a hard top covering the stern outside lounge? My interior is identical to yours but my wood paneling is not quite as flawless as yours appears to be.
Do you know of many other 40 DC owners?
