    Hatteras 34 top / cruising speeds?

    The model brochures list a wide variety of speeds and weight for the Hatteras 34 (1961-1965). Estimated cruise speed of 25-35 and topping out at 40 sounds good to be true for that generation. What kind of speeds are people seeing with gas inboards? What size prop?

    Any experiences with a 6CTA powerered 52 or 53 convertible? I tried to find performance numbers on Pascals 53 MY but couldn't find anything, only that he was happy with the repower. Plan on traveling 75% of the time at hull speed.
