I am hoping to be part of the Hatteras family looking to get a 53,54,56,58 between 1983 and 1987 first any feedback or suggestion on models would be great. Per my wife it has to have an aft deck. Two question one does anyone know what year the conversion was made from 32 volts to 24 volts? Second can anyone help with the size engine. I seen 6V71 and 8V71 then I have seen 8V92 and 8V92 TI understand one is a turbo but not sure of HP any recommendation would be appreciated. I do understand that in 56 and 58 motor yachts you would only use 8 vs 6 and my gut says that should be the same in 53 and 54 any help is appreciated
