I am so over business that say we will bill your insurance company so you wont have to pay.

I left my boat at a Marco Island Florida marina and flew to Maine for a 5 days over...
I just splashed my boat yesterday after weeks in the yard getting a new bottom job.
Once she wqs back in the water, I happened to walk past the lift and saw about 10 inches of my new bottom paint stuck to the slings.
not happy as that means I got no pint in a section or 2.
Anything that can be...
For a while now I have been getting a drip on my valve cover on my starboard engine on the left hand side. It appears if oil is dripping out the front of the airbox and dripping onto the cover, and then dripping down. I have asked a couple of diesel mechanics about this, and no one seems to be...
My anchor chain is 7 yrs old to me. I have 200ft of 9/32 Grade 80 chain. It is looking rusty and my 1st thought is to reverse it around as the last 100ft has hardly ever been used.
Is that a good idea, how long do they typically last? Should I just replace it?
thanks to someone walking the docks during hurricane Ian, I may have some answers.
With the amount of water that left Tampa Bay, some of the slips in our Marina were left with vry little water. It appears as if we touched bottom and listed. This caused the port side exhaust to sit lower and...
I installed a new starter on my port engine on my 53MY with 8v71N. Went to start and nothing.
After going over every possible senario we checked to oil dipstick and it was 2 inches higher thatn normal. I went to the oil transfer pump and pumped out some oil and the water, salt water.

We were leaving for a week trip today.
Went to go start the motors and the port side is completely dead, not a sound when I turn the key.

I had my oil sampled back in March 22 and got a clean bill of health and it was recommended that I was good for another 80-100 hrs. So i went on a long trip.

I am doing some maintenance and painting on my 53 MY.
These are rail ends that are used to support the aft deck overhang. I have searched the internet and can only see similar but not the same parts.
These are old and nasty and would love some new shiny ones.
I have some airline cracks mostly under the deck, so on the ceiling of my adft deck.
I thought it was probably due to the PO Boston whaler the had banged around. Also notice a few outside the side sliding doors.
So the issue is what to do about them?

I have gone through so many threads and still cant find the answer I need.
I have to haul out and the yard wants to know my exact weight to determine what travel lift to use.
I thought this would be an easy find, apparently not.
Any one got the answer? I know it depends on how much fuel water...
My oil samples came back and I have 5.7% fuel content in the oil.
All my injectors were replaced just at my last oil change so i doubt it could be a leaking injector ( not ruling it out)
I am not sure what to do or where it could be coming from. I looked at bunch of forums including the ones...
I am hoping that someone can save me from going crazy......
I had a bank of 32 v batteries going bad so as i decided before my trip they needed replacing (should be on a trip already and now stuck on the dock)
Here is what happened that lead up to the problems.
While installing the batteries...
