This may be a stupid question, but I'm tired of hoses leaving marks on my deck and house whenever I wash my boat. What hoses do you guys use to wash boats?

One the side walkways of my boat I have 6 32v Perko lights. They are getting too hot and literally "charing" the inside of the fixture. Would it help if I switched the power source and fixtures to 12v? Or better yet 12v and LEDs?

My AC compressor makes a loud weird noise when trying to start. It try's for maybe a minute then cuts off. Is it done? Can I buy parts or just replace? I'm a located in an area where the nearest Marine AC guy is 300 miles away! If I need to replace... This runs two evaps, one n the galley...
