    She left sight of land!

As some of you know, my boat has been a labor of love for the past 6 years. I have it just about completed (cosmetics left). I blew the port engine in the fall (failed o-rings), had it rebuilt and run approx. 30 hours in the river. This past weekend I topped off the fuel tanks, water tanks...

Have any of the Florida owners registered their Hatt as an antique to save the annual registration fees? What was involved? Does the DMV have a field agent? How does it all work? Jason

    Norpro 12NY generator

I have a Norpro 12NY generator and will be changing the oil and filter today. The parts kit it came with has a replacement oil filter with the Norpro part number 2947746226. Does anyone have a cross reference to an off the shelf filter that I can purchase at Napa, Advance, etc? Thanks, Jason

    Generator end...Stamford Newage or Marathon?

I just got home from the Miami Boat Show, and saw my new 12.5kw Norpro on display there. They built it using a Stamford Newage end rather than the Marathon end that was quoted. Which is better? What is/are the benefits of one over the other? Not being familiar with this kind of thing...

    East Central Florida HOF Rendezvous

Is there any interest in a get-together in the Melbourne area? We traditionally bring our boat to Melbourne Harbor Marina for the annual Melbourne Art Festival. Was thinking it would be a great time and place to organize a get-together. This year, the weekend is April 23-25.

    Boater's World is no more

Well as of today, Boater's World is owned and operated by a liquidation company, and EVERYTHING in the stores (all 140 of them) is 10-30% off. This is the end of the company, as all the stores will be closing before summer. It is unfortunate, as this really affects not only the customers...
