I am interested in the Outback power systems VFX32332M. I know several forum members have recommended this unit. Is the charger section a "Smart" charger or is it a ferro-resonance ? What other parts are useful like auto switching etc.. 1971 58YF mostly original 32 volt.

58YF lost all but three Taylormade Fenders to Ike. With some lines chafed thru at top of fenders other were pulled off the line by the dock. How many and what size should I get ?

Anyone have experience with the Furuno Autopilot pumps HRP 16-12 or HRP17-12 ? They seem awfully small ? Not sure of reliability. Would a Simarad RPU-160 work with NavPilot ?

In the set up for a Furuno Navpilot it asks for angle of rudder movement in degrees. My guess would be about 30 degrees, but I can't find it in the manual. Searched the forum and everyone seems to want the toe in or toe out angle.
