BP first estimated 1000 barrels per day, then up it to 5000 barrels per day. The gusher is coming from either a 21" or 22" pipe. Scientist at Purdue say's it's more like 50,000 to 80,000 barrels per day. I know you can load a 10,000 barrel barge in 3-4 hrs thru either a 10" or 14" loading pipe...
