Baytowne is definitely nice. Probably pretty windy during the Winter, if I recall not much blocking the north winds. Pretty sunrise and sunsets, golf cart and bike rentals will get you to everywhere you need to go.

Off Lake Michigan and onto the Cal-Sag, Chicago Sanitary Channel and the Illinois River. Pucker moment as we pass under the lowest fixed bridge of the Great Loop route.

Just installed 16,000btu in Master vented to midship vip and 13,000btu in forward crew quarters vented to forward stateroom bunk room. Went with Webasto Blue Cool Series S and spent just under $5,000, buddy and I did the installation. Purchased through Citimarine. Pulled 2 splits from engine...

Beautiful trip from Frankfort MI, Betsy Lake to Pentwater Snug Harbor.. Michigan has some wonderful towns, albeit after seeing the sand at the beaches on Lake Michigan I now know where ashtray sand comes from. ;)

Soupy Fog from Leland to Frankfort, attentive navigation. Michigan in the summer is a beautiful place / time to enjoy the Great Lakes.
