I am going to look at this boat on the 10th of July at 13:00. I would appreciate any tips on what to look for, i.e. wet decks and where they could be located, windows: what to be vary of, and any other pointers you are willing to provide.
I have watched the video of the Hatteras Hatcon system on Boatest.com for several years and it never ceases to amaze me. The amount of information you have at your fingertips is wonderful and the simplicity of use is simply amazing! If you haven't seen it go the this site and click on the video...
I know this yacht will do the Bahamas and that one needs a good day of weather to cross the Gulf Stream with it. I don't think with the size of the fuel tanks one is going any farther than the Bahamas. I like the boat and think the asking price is good. Any comments on the boat or cruising...
I don't care for the European styling of the exterior of the 64 nor the design of the windows. However; the interior of everyone I have looked at is simply amazing. If I ever do buy another boat I'd really look at one. Also, I love Cat engines.
I have over 10 years on the Chesapeake Bay with a 48 foot Chris Craft Roamer experience, over 4 years in San Diego with a 45 foot sailboat and more than that in the Chesapeake Bay with a 42 foot Jeanneau. I do not have much pure ocean time with any boat. I was wondering if this boat will be...
I like the fact the engines only have 70 hours on them since MO. I think the boat looks very nice and the price is reasonable. The one draw back is it is not for sale to US residents while in US waters. I am sure there is an easy way to deal with that...
I have read numerus threads about Man diesels costs on here. I have owned Cats and Perkins diesels with no problems, I have also own gas Merc Cruiser 350s without problems nor excessive costs. I have read the threads that claim normal maintenance on Man Diesels is out of sight. I don't have...
If the admiral's and my health was better I'd be Chesapeake, VA making a deal on this 53. The pictures are supposedly from 2020, if true she looks to be in excellent shape. I see a lot of people saying they are looking for a Hatteras 53, they should go look at Starfire...
I watched this and think the a very nice boat. I was wondering about the opinion of Fleming on the forum.

I know the extra foot is a difference. I've been looking at a 1999 74' and a 2004 75' online. I don't see anything that stands out. Is there anything I am missing?
I've seen them on 70 footers, 63 footers, and a lot of other models. While I have seen a lot of discussion about replacement for the 8 cylinder Detroits I have not seen much for this model. I was wondering if you were to replace them on your boat what would be your engine of choice and why?
I've been looking at Yachtworld a lot since my wife and I have been cooped up because of the virus, it beats anything on TV. I have to admit to developing a boat crush on the Cockpit Motor Yacht 75, that is one beautiful boat. Hatteras has done themselves proud with the design of it and I love...
