Downloaded, thank you. Disassembled, now checking with Seatech if their HS-04 kit fits my H42-04 pump. My pump doesn't have the uppermost ring/gasket in the A group of parts.

ah, that's it, haven't removed the keyway. Thank you for the advice...

Removed the back plate but the shaft doesn't want to come out of the round piston housing. Tapped it lightly, don't want to whack it hard until I know it should come out. Yes, the ball bearings, I'm working on a folded up towel for that.

Rebuilt the pump four years ago and can't remember how I got it apart. Does the back end pull off first? Is a gear puller needed to pull it? I believe there's a snap ring on the underside of the front end(steering wheel end) so the shaft needs to be pulled to get at it and the seals.

Here's how I've converted my 32 volt lighting to use 12 volt LEDs. Takes a bit of work but the cost is low, $2.50 plus the bulb cost. So far, after six months, the lights are working fine -no bulb burnout or converter failures. But, the parts are low cost Chinese Ebay stuff so, disclaimer...

Location of holding tank access plate on a '82 50c Anyone know where the holding tank access plate would be on a 1982 50c? I have a manual for the boat but it shows the plate and tank located where the freshwater tank is. I'm thinking it is behind or under the forward port closet...

Anyone have a part number for a canister oil filter for an Allison MH20 transmission? I've been searching the internet and can't find one. This looks like it, 29540493, but I can't find a reference that says definitively that it's for a MH20.

Anyone know where water should drain underneath the cockpit of a 50c? I've got some standing water up under the muffler at the bulkhead. I'm at a 1/4 tank of fuel, sitting a bit transom high, so it's not draining back to the transom bilge pump. Is there a limber hole near the muffler that should...
