Th PO of our 1979 58' MY. Had the showers/tub painted. They looked nice at first, but now water literally chips off the new paint. Now they look awful. Looking for ideas on prep and paint to resolve this.

This is a blast from the past item, but hopefully someone will have a source. We are cruising up in Maine right now, wishing we had a "bottle breaker" that our parents had to break the bottom out of glass bottles so they will sink while off-shore. Any ideas out there?

Today's project is to replace the gaskets in four of the flip up windows down below in the staterooms of our '79 58' MY. Do I use any sealer to secure it? It doesn't look like any was in there before except a dot of glue to seal the break at the top center of the window.

We needed to hook up to dockside water for a few days. Getting great pressure and supply, but no hot water. Is there a trick to getting the dockside supply to the hot water heater? 1979 58' MY

Original unit 1979 58 MY Power former dry type transformer by Jefferson Electric. Needs to be replaced. Model is not available through mfg. Has anyone out there replaced one? This is the big transformer in the generator room. Suggestions for substitutes? Joe Parker

Need to get some of the vinyl wall covering ( I believe ours is original) gold/honey colored. To cover a box I am making to soundproof our Gen-set exhaust. Any suggestions? Couldn't find it on Sam's parts list.
