I went down to the engine room today and noticed a little black spot right in the middle of the floor. It is like a pin size hole and there seems to be a little water coming out of it. As soon as I dry it with paper towel seems to get wet again. Today i also noticed that the oil absorbant sheets under the engines were damp which was not the case a couple of days ago. I have not taken the boat out all week and has not rained. The water coming out is saltwater.
Has anyone ever seen this before? Any suggestions? Thank you

Close every thru hull and take a good look around each one, same with xducer and rudder shafts etc.

Certainly good advice above. Very possibly your keel is full of water.

As stated above the keel is most likely full of water. Same symptoms happened to me after “touching” a coral head.

Yep, as already posted keel could be full of water.
Might want to take the shopvac to it and see what you can suck out.CRICKET

The smell of the water that you’re going to pull out of the keal is going to be sickening. Make sure you got some Lysol around.

Yes the water coming up, although, very very very little is black and stinky. Thank you for all the replies. Can this wait 2 months when the boat gets pulled out or does it have to be fixed asap

Re: Help!!!! 48 sportfish, pin size hole on engine room floor.
If the keel is full, the first problem is going to be draining and drying the inside of it. I did this on my 36 c and it took weeks to dry the inside of the keep to the point where it could be repaired. That's two weeks with a shop vac pulling air through the keel, in the summer. But this is not a trivial problem and you are right to be concerned about it. Ideal would be a prolonged haulout, thoroughly drying everything out, and then a repair of the damaged areas and barrier coat applied to everything.
