When taking that into consideration, a repitch might be the more prudent option.
I would start there. Get them pitched to get the proper RPM. Then evaluate. If you're not happy with smoothness or speed, keep those for spares and buy new. When taking that into consideration, a repitch might be the more prudent option.
What was your method of removal? And how do you continually remove the water?Do you have the traditional Hatteras water in keel? Instead of taking pitch from our props, we pumped out the keel and the boat came alive. It was like having an extra fuel tank full all the time. Water line rose two inches as well. Just a thought
How much water are we talking about?used a hole saw and cut a 6" hole between the engines, dug out the old foam all the way to the bottom of the keel. This allowed the water a place to run to and we pumped it out from there. Beware, the water will stink but your engines will thank you and the "Hatteras smell" will go away too. When done, installed a round hatch for access to monitor
