Our 1966 Hatteras 41 Twin Cabin has endured quite well through the years. We've owned her for the last 15 of those years. For that entire time I have been moderately annoyed by the plastic Hatteras "check" logos that were mounted crooked, presumably after her last Awlgrip job which was about 30 years ago. I purchased new SS check logos from from someone here that makes them. I never mounted them as I was dreading the paint repair filling the "wrong" holes that would remain. My latest solution was to create a 60 year Anniversary plaque to replace the plastic logos. It does at least cover one of the 3 old screw holes. I'll take my minor victories as they come.
