Possible electric issue

We were out for 10 days using the Air Conditioner in the main salon with no issues. On a cruise back, we turned off the Air Conditioner and when we returned to the dock the circuit pops every time we turn the air on I. The main salon. All other air conditioners work just fine.. Any thoughts or suggestionsof areas to check would be appreciated? The picture of the breakers that pop are listed on this thread. The white one pops and then the four black ones pop at the same time.

Those white(ground fault) breakers go bad. I've seen it several times. I bypass them and add ground faults to any outlets. They put them on all ships services and some are not needed because there are no outlets. Since that SS just feeds air conditioners, remove the wire that goes from the white breaker to the black. Its just there to short(trip)the breaker when the white trips.

Well this thread woke up the gremlins in my boat. My port breaker started slow throwing last week. I had already done my starboard GFI breaker as Sky mentions. Did the same thing with port and installed GFI outlets and all is well. Ran on generator all day today and no issues

If it persists, call a marine electrician. I had to hire one to trace my gremlins. Every time I tried to run the washer/dryer, the dock side breaker opened. Turned ou to be a nuetral ground problem. On boats they are separate but same thing in a house. WD worked fine in Texas where I bought the boat. Here in Pensacola the dock breakers are super sensitive to ground or neutral faults. Also had a loose ground on the aft deck AC.

Same sparky recently solved my battery charger gremlin. If you find a good one keep his number handy!
