  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
42' COCKPIT MY SE (1994 - 1997)
Working behind a panel a got a little rough I guess, and broke both tiny wires on one of these panel lights. Are they available. Are they anything common or special Hatteras only ?
My apologies. My subconcious said 'attach the picture' but then didn't connect with the action to do it...

Happen to have a photo of the panel or light? Which veasel?

I think Sams sells them, if not Les Henderson does. If you need his number PM me.

Carefully. He never met a system he didn't insist needed a rebuild. Quoted a friend $1600.00 to replace all the working parts on the board. It was a wire on a sensor. 0

If you pop that panel out, is there a model number on any of the lamp housings?

I'll try and look again tomorrow - maybe take a magnifier with me. Man are those some tiny parts for these 71 year old eyes ! I also texted the Sams number to give that a shot.

Wow. I buy and use all kinds of indicator lights in customers panels. $3-7. Depending on size and voltage.

$35 is a bit punitive.

I’m getting old, forgot about that. I’ll be at the boat tomorrow, I’ll see what I have left. Yes, Scott I thought it was a bit steep but he was helping out with some troubleshooting pro bono.

Ok. Update. Turns out it's actually a tiny light bulb that is a friction fit from the back. And of course, I managed to break off two others as you can see, so now I really need a source or them.

EEK. Is it a 12V panel? If it was and the indicator lights were $35 a piece I'd have my calipers out to find an alternate option.

A 1996 42 CPMY is AFAIK a 12v boat. There's probably an LED option out there.

I have a few bulbs available if you’re interested but they are 24V and won’t work in 12V or 32V systems if that’s what you have.

I found almost all the indicator lights independently and still have a spreadsheet. PM me rwaldrop13@gmail.com

Update: Thanks to all here ! Every reply brought something to the table for me. I ended up ordering from that Amazon link (SeaEric), just the clear LEDs themselves (I mean, 50 for $8, worth a try) and they work great - slip right into the existing red lenses. Got my 2 basic engine not running' warning lights working right away. The challenge now is figuring out the remaining 'assignments' for the 3 pairs of loose wires I broke off while working in here. I have to say - that wiring in there - must be like 24 or 26 awg - is tricky to work with.
